“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
Regardless of how dire your situation is, you are coming out triumphantly. The Bible says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ.” He did not say sometimes; He said ‘always,’ and therefore, you should repeatedly tell yourself, “I always win!”
Occasionally you may lose some battles, but there is a difference between a battle and a war. The war is the entire fight, but the battles are the different rounds of the fight. It is like a boxing match. There is round one, round two, round three, etc. Now it is possible to lose round one, but you could still eventually win the match.
As a child of God, you never lose, and that should be your mentality. So, if anyone decides to pitch a tent against you, first, ask yourself, “Is God with me?”
The answer is yes because the Bible says in Romans 8:31, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
So, relax; God is on your side.
He says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”
The word ‘savour’ means taste, flavor, or fragrance. You see, there is a fragrance that emits from you every way you go. Just like a sweet-smelling cologne or perfume, there is a fragrance that oozes out of you — It is called a savour of God’s knowledge. This fragrance of the knowledge of God comes when you are born again. It is this fragrance that makes people want to help you without even knowing why. They see something in you and favor you without a cause.
Therefore, as a child of God, you are not disadvantaged. If you are born again, you are not disadvantaged. No, you are not. You are blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed.
In life, do not seek out unnecessary battles but always remember, as a child of God, you always win! Hallelujah.
Glory to God.
